Over-the-top power was the name of the game. AMG's Hammer was of course the predecessor to what would be the W210 E55 AMG. And a legend was born.

May 13, 2023 The W124 is the best E Class, you'll be told. The W210, which followed, was nothing in comparison. A terrible car from the beginning of what would be a terrible era for the mighty Mercedes-Benz. Awful, unreliable, poor build quality, rusty, the list goes on. The people that tell you that are wrong, at least for the most part.
